The Soapbox Laundro-Lounge announced that they’ll be closing their doors on July 28th, 2013. This is a sad time for live music in Wilmington. The Soapbox has hosted hundreds of musicians from just about every local singer-songwriter to well-known national acts such as Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. It is/was the best music venue in town.

Below is Brent Watkins’ letter to the community regarding the closure. There will be several last shows from now through the 28th. Check them out while you still can!!
